Dominik Rinnhofer and me hold a two-phase workshop at the popakademie in mannheim. The first part introduces various VJ solutions (PsychoPuff, Modul8, etc.) and explains them on the basis of the speakers' projects. Further, the basic processes of musical visualization and of MaxMSP software are also described. Which footage is suitable? Which peripheral technology is needed? Motion capturing, integration of live footage via webcam. The second is the practical part, where participants can try the software for themselves. Visuals used at Time Warp.
